Microsoft Develops XP 'Light' for Thailand

It's be smart for Microsoft to release a "Light" version of Windows XP free for download. This would server the purpose of getting everyone on the same page OS architecture wise (no need to continue to support Win9x, tell users to download the free upgrade).
