Google Now Using H1's as titles in search results for certain title tag values

I just noticed in a search for [irazu chicago] that Google is showing the H1 value ("A message to our customers from, Miriam and Gerardo Cerdas" of http://www.irazuchicago.com when the value of the title tag for that page is "Untitled Page".

This is a smart little usability touch. Obviously, there's negative value to the searcher of having "Untitled Page" show up in the search results.

It makes me wonder what other values of the title tag they will do this for, and how many languages it supports.

P.S. It's also interesting that the author of that site was smart enough to use H1 tags, but forgot to set a value for the title tag.
