uTorrent is, by far, the best bittorrent client I've used. It is also one of the best Windows programs I've used.
What's great about uTorrent *
*Fast
*Stable (and gracefully recovers from crashes caused by other programs *cough* Windows *cough*)
*Small
*Standard
*Standard GUI (No skins!)
*Predictable and plentiful keyboard shortcuts
*Painless updates
*Have never lost any data due to upgrade
*Upgrade is generally so smooth that I have to check the version number to make sure it happened
*Full version notes - Most software developers I know of are)either too arrogant, ignorant, secretive or embarrassed to post anything resembling a full changelog, much less make it readily accessible
Downsides:
*Ambiguity in how to pronounce, type or search for the uTorrent
