If you're looking to plot out a route on Google Maps, Google Maps Pedometer is the tool you're looking for, not the lame imitator that I just got burned by, http://www.trails.com/googlemap.aspx .
I'm not sure why Google is ranking the crappy doesn't-save-your-map-after-you've-worked-on-it-for-a-few-minutes version ahead of the real deal.
P.S. "GMaps Pedometer", don't make me sign up on your forum to submit a bug report that you need to put the text "Google Maps Pedometer" in your page title so you can outrank lame copies of your site.
