Blogger does not support Google Analytics 4

Conveniently, Blogger makes it easy to add a Google Analytics ID in settings to add Google Analytics tracking to your Blogger blog. Unfortunately, Blogger does not support the Google Analytics 4 style ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX). Google Analytics 4 looks good, but the roll-out seems kind of sloppy. I think they could have preserved historical Universal Analytics data if they cared, or at least allowed hit-level export of Universal Analytics data via Google Takeout.
