The Xiaomi Mi Box (2017) was a great value Android TV box that shipped with Android TV 6 and, impressively, has continued to receive updates into 2022. Unfortunately, those updates also includes spyware like "Alphonso AI" and that collects and sells information on everything you watch, listen to, and probably also anything it can hear through the microphone. The interface shows that you can opt out of this, but I definitely don't trust that setting to disable all data collection. There are other suspicious apps like "PatchWall" included as well. As soon as I saw these, factory reset the device and disconnected it.
